Our products are certified by a qualified Engineer and are extremely light and easy to use.

We, at Lite Guard believe that Health & Safety is of prime importance and that it is our responsibility as employers to take every precaution in providing our workers with a safe work environment, above and below ground.

Grave Shoring Panels are very light, approximately 30kgs each. The standard panels are 2400mm long x 600mm high x 40mm thick and constructed of structural grade aluminium. We can, however make the panels any size to suit your requirements. Our panels are painted green or any colour on request.

They can be handled manually or by small machinery often used within cemeteries. Base Panels come with 600mm high legs in the corners to prevent damaging the caskets on removal of the shoring system. For use in sandy soil, panels can have built-in or clip-on cutting edges.

Lifting lugs are on all panels. Panels can be stacked high to a depth of 3000mm.

Spreader bars, either adjustable or fixed length. Spreader bars double as a ladder for entering and exiting the excavation.

Lite Guard are specialist aluminium fabricators and can manufacture to your individual designs or requirements.

Other products are:

  • Safety lids for open graves, mesh or solid aluminium. Can be lockable and attach to the decking or shoring.
  • Handrails to meet the falling from heights regulations. (If the grave is deeper than 2000mm)
  • Checker plate decking for around the grave site, made to your requirements.
  • End closure panels are for use in sandy soil to prevent cave ins at the ends of the grave. There are 3 x 300mm wide panels for each end of the grave which are adjustable to fit to your maximum grave width.
  • Monument stabiliser. For monuments which have become unsafe and could cause serious accidents if they were to fall over.
  • We supply a good quality synthetic grass.
